27th May 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 15-20, 20-25 Surf / Sea State: 1ft Air Temperature: 12C Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Nice day out on the beach with moderate wind but dead onshore westerley. Rigged 6.4m and wave board as I needed as much power as possible to get off the beach. It was a bit up and down and just about powered up and sometimes not quite enough. Still good fun in the small waves. Did some long runs down to the start of Borth and back up to the estuary. After lunch it seemed to have dropped off a little so switched to my Eagle and flew up wind a bit over powered and very bumpy in the swell. Had a few plays out the back then came back in. Good timing 'cause it then picked up quite a bit so went back out on the wave board until I started to get cramp and packed up. Long session with the sun shining. |
